Our Client is an established trading company based in Juba, South Sudan. They seek to hire an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to push the brands in the market and increase revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Exhibit a professional presentation when dealing with employees, clients, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with Director for annual reviews and hiring of new personnel
  • Maximizing the sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the senior management.
  • Prospect and develop relationships with new clients within an assigned territory.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Consult with clients to determine their needs and priorities.
  • Objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Expansion of the company business to the neighboring countries. 
  • Deliver oral presentations to support written proposals for potential projects.
  • Coordinate with administrative personnel to prepare accurate customer billing.

Key Qualifications.

  • BS/MBA degree in marketing or business administration or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a technical sales role in the construction or power machinery industry. 
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical items and accessories.
  • Knowledge of general building and construction materials and hardware items will be an added advantage.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of market dynamics and have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing market environment. 
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization. 
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. 
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise. 
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
